Our Approach

A Personal Service Firm

As a small firm, we pride ourselves on having assembled a group of knowledgeable, caring professionals operating in an overhead reducing model that results in genuine results at reduced costs. This affords Anchor a unique position in the legal market. We not only provide sophisticated, well-resourced representation at competitive rates, but are able to do so in a way that puts the client and their needs front-and-center.

We have built a structure that allows us to devote substantial time and attention to each of our clients, and to avoid the impersonal “factory-like” style typical of larger firms. We are approachable and reliable. The firm professionals you meet are the same ones who will be handling your case — and are never too far out-of-reach.

We provide effective, budget conscious, results oriented representation to clients. Our commitment to people and focused advocacy has earned us a sparkling reputation in the community; a reputation that we put to good use as strategic leverage. We believe that “compassionate representation” is critical. Anchor believes in personal service characteristics that seem so absent these days.

My company has completely finished weeks of work on a big body jet for a foreign owner; they aren’t paying. What now?2023-09-19T13:05:56-07:00

Anchor Law Group got it’s start working with Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) providers of VIP aircraft owners and airlines and knows how to play hard ball with them to ensure that vendors get paid.  We pioneered the practice of recording liens on owner’s aircraft, hangars and other facilities, as well as holding up their airworthiness certificates to ensure that you the MRO vendor gets paid.  ALG knows how to write a solid contract and litigate it in court. ALG can play hardball with the big boys when it’s time. Call us to enlist our services.

I was involved in an accident that wasn’t my fault but the other driver has no insurance; what can I do?2023-09-24T22:16:47-07:00

When you bought your insurance, you should have offered and bought uninsured and/or underinsured coverage. That insurance kicks in and acts pays on behalf of the other driver. FYI; if you don’t have that insurance, buy it now!

I have creditors who have recorded liens on my home. I am considering filing a bankruptcy. Will that help?2023-09-24T22:17:29-07:00

yes, but only under certain circumstances. Once recorded, liens require special attention to get rid of, and you won’t be able to sell or refi your house without paying them off or otherwise eliminating them. Call us; Anchor can help.

I have a unique idea that I want to protect. How can I do that?2023-09-24T22:19:55-07:00

Your idea may be subject to utility or design patent, trademark, or copyright intellectual property (IP) protection. Patents protect the functional or ornamental design of useful things, while trademarks may protect your logo or brand, and copyright may protect your fixed form(s) of expression. A wide variety of IP protection is available and may be advantageous, so talk to us in confidence to find out.

I want to incorporate my business, should I choose a C-Corp, S-Corp or an LLC?2023-06-26T04:21:02-07:00

All corporations will spare the owner any business related liabilities.  The LLC is preferred due to its simplicity. There is no need for a board of directors, and there can be unlimited shareholders, the C-Corp is able to public and sell stock and build up many share holders.  The C-Corp is preferred by investors.  The S-Corp is limited to 100 share holders.  All corps come with ongoing filings and regulatory fees.
